A43 THREADLOCK- Oil Tolerant Threadlocking Adhesive
A medium viscosity, medium strength, screw and threadlocker. Capable of bonding “As Received” parts covered with a light film of oil. Non-drip consistency for clean, economic application.
Uses
Bond It A43 THREADLOCK can be used as a locking compound for direct application to lightly oiled components, thus reducing the need for pre-treatment. Also suitable as a standard anaerobic threadlocker for fine to medium pitch threads.
Preparation
Remove heavy oil and grease contamination. Best results are obtained on clean parts.
Application
Apply sufficient adhesive to coat the treads. The adhesive will start to cure on exclusion of air from the bonding system. Observe handling and strength times stated below.
Bonding Time
Assuming room temperature is 20C.
Handling: < 15 minutes
Full strength: 24 hours
Storage Conditions
Store in a closed upright container between 3 and 20C in dry dark conditions. At low temperatures the shelf life will be prolonged.
Shelf Life
Minimum shelf life 6 months @ 20C.
A70 STUDLOCK - Anaerobic Adhesive
A high strength, anaerobic adhesive for the permanent retention and sealing of threaded fasteners, sleeves and bearings. It is resistant to fuels, oils, hydraulic and refrigeration fluids.
Uses
Bond It A70 STUDLOCK can be used for fixing and sealing of plugs, through bolts and studs into castings, etc. It eliminates split pins, double nutting and spot welds and is vibration proof. A70 STUDLOCK also acts as a lubricant during assembly to ensure accurate torquing and protection against corrosion. Use of A70STUDLOCK improves throughput and efficiency.
Preparation
Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from grease.
Application
