TYPE D THREADED WOOD INSERT

Insert nuts provide a strong permanent thread for wood.
Type D have a flanged head which prevents the insert being driven too deep into the timber.
They are installed by simply screwing the self tapping body into the material.
The unique external thread ensures strong resistance against pull out.

Threads are standard metric coarse (most commonly used).
Manufactured from zinc plated die cast alloy.

Plating may be yellow or silver depending on current stock.
