This wera inter-changeable blade system ensures that the user is equipped for any live-voltage application.
According to the job, the insulted inter-changeable blade with the required tip style, or a blade for opening the switchboard cabinet mechanism.
The self locking system is activated as soon as the blade touches the bottom of the handle, this protects against accidental blade release.
Once the blade is locked in, the insulated VDE tool is now ready for screwdriving action
The insulated inter-changeable blades of Wera fulfil all requests of corresponding national and international standards (IEC60900:2004 or DIN EN 60900).
Most importantly, the individual testing of the blades under a 10,000 volt load in a water bath gives the user peace of mind that the screwdriver has been thoroughly tested for its most important feature: insulation
