Winged Countersunk Self Drilling Screws

Self drilling screws are designed for attaching to steel without the need for a pre-drilled hole, self tapping threads enabling installation in one operation. This type is used for attaching wood to metal, the wings create an oversize hole in the wood to prevent the screw binding, the wings then break off on contact with the metal. Ribs under the head aid with countersinking.
